SUBOR
GRP Pipes are
designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with AWWA and ASTM
standards today.SUBOR
GRP Pipes also meet specifications of ISO, EN, BS, DIM and Turkish TSE
standards.
SUBOR's
quality management system was certified under the ISO 9001 Standard in
August 1999 by the German Quality Organisation DQS. SUBOR
has also proven its environmental awareness by having the ISO 14001
"Environmental Management System" Certificate

SUBOR
GRP Pipe Technology process represents the most advanced
technology in use, and is foremost method of manufacturing glass
reinforced plastic pipe.SUBOR
pipe
is manufactured with a proven process, "Continuous Filament
Winding Method", using glass fiber reinforcements,
thermosetting polyester resins and a sand filler as the basic
raw materials,forming a dense composite laminate. |

SUBOR
GRP Pipes are
designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with AWWA and

standards
today.SUBOR

GRP Pipes
also meet specifications of ISO, EN, BS, DIN, and Turkish TSE
standards.
Potable
Water Approvals
SUBOR
GRP pipes are tested and approved for the conveyance of potable
water in Turkey by Turkish Health Institute "T.C. Sağlık
Bakanlığı, Hıfzısıhha Enstitüsü".
SUBOR
GRP pipes are manufactured with exactly the same process,
materials and composition of pipes produced elsewhere that are
tested and approved for the conveyance of potable water meeting
many of the world's leading authorities' and testing institutes'
criteria, including:
·
NSF
(Standard No. 61) - United States
·
TZW -
Germany
·
Lyonnaise
des Eaux
·
KIWA -
The Netherlands
·
WCR -
United Kingdom
SUBOR
GRP pipes have rapidly gained acceptance due to their superior
characteristics and benefits and are now widely used in Turkey
and also in some other countries where they are exported.
SUBOR
pipes are
replacing pipes made of conventional materials for many
applications such as potable water, irrigation and sewer; as is
the case for the whole world for pipes manufactured with the
same technology as
SUBOR
's.

Raw Material
Tests
Raw materials are delivered with vendor certification
demonstrating their compliance with SUBOR
quality
requirements; in addition, all raw materials are sample tested
prior to their use.
Major Materials that are tested in our Labaratories;
·
Polyester Resin
·
Glass Fiber Products (Continuous Glass Fibers, Fiber Chops,Surface
Mat,Woven Rowing Glass Fiber)
·
Filler Materials
·
Additional Chemicals
·
Gaskets and Stoppers
·
Other Materials
Process and Product Control tests
With reference to International Standards below;

All pipes are subjected to the following control checks in SUBOR
labaratories.
·
Visual Inspection
·
Barcol Hardness
·
Wall Thickness
·
Section Length
·
Diameter
·
Hydrostatic Leak Tightness Test to twice rated pressure (only
PN6 and above)
On a sampling
basis, the following control checks are performed:
·
Pipe Stiffness
·
Deflection without damage or structural failure
·
Axial and Circumferencial Tensile Strength Tests
|
|
| Rigidity Test: |
|
CTP boruların dış yüklere karşı dayanımlarının
belirlenmesi için kullanılan bir test metodudur.
|
|

|
|
 |
| Circumferencial
Tensile Strength Tests: |
|
To test the
circumferencial pressure capacity of the pipe.
|
|
 |
| Barcol Hardness Test:
|
|
The test in order to find the degree of curing of the pipe. |
|

|
|
Hydrostatic Pressure Test:
|
|
Every pipe produced in SUBOR
exposed to
twice of its nominal pressure.
|
 |
| Composite Test:
|
| To test the raw
materials as if they have the same values of suppliers. |
|
 |
Axial Tensile Strength Tests |

|
|
| Long
Term Testing |
Long Term tests aim at
determining the design criteria of the pipe and long term material
properties. SUBOR
performs the following tests in its labaratories in its modern
manufacturing plants.
