SUBOR PIPE INDUSTRY AND TRADE INC. ADAPAZARI PLANT
 
SUBOR manufacturing plant in Adapazarı Karapürçek is established over an open area of 74,000 m2, with a covered area of 5,500 m2. Glass Reinforced Plastic Pipes and Fittings are produced at the plant.
GRP pipes of diameters between DN 300 mm – DN 2400 mm, pressure classes between gravity and 32 Bar and stiffness classes between SN 2500 N/m2 and SN 10000 N/m2 are manufactured at the plant with “continuous filament winding method”. 

The plant started production on 12th April 1997 with one manufacturing line. The second manufacturing line started mass production in December 1998 and the capacity of the plant was thus increased 100%.

The average capacity of the plant for the above described diameters and pressure and stiffness classes is 350 km GRP pipe per year. The number of employees at the plant is 130.

The products manufactured at the plant are certified by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) for their conformity to TS 4355 and TS pr EN 1115 standards. The quality system of the company is also in conformity with the ISO 9001 Standard and is certified by DQS.

The plant also applies the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System strictly and accordingly it has been awarded a prize in May 1999 at the Congress organized jointly by ISO and TSE
SUBOR GAP PIPE INDUSTRY AND TRADE INC. ŞANLIURFA PLANT
 

SUBOR  manufacturing plant in Şanlıurfa is situated at the 35. km of Şanlıurfa – Gaziantep highway. The plant is established over an open area of 201,000 m2, with a covered area of 5,422 m2. Glass reinforced Plastic pipes and fittings are produced at the plant.
GRP pipes of diameters between DN 300 mm – DN 2400 mm, pressure classes between gravity and 32 Bar and stiffness classes between SN 2500 N/m2 and SN 10000 N/m2 are manufactured at the plant with “continuous filament winding method”.
The plant started mass production on 19th of July 2000. Currently there is one manufacturing line at the plant. The infrastructure and construction works for a second manufacturing line are also completed. 

The average capacity of the plant for the above described diameters and pressure and stiffness classes is 165 km GRP pipe per year. The number of employees at the plant is 80. Should the second manufacturing line is set up, the capacity of the plant will be doubled and the expected number of employees will then be 130.

The products manufactured at the plant are certified by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) for their conformity to TS 4355 standard. The plant is in the process of developing its quality system since its establishment and it is planned to obtain the ISO 9001 Standard Certificate in May 2001.
